Chesapeake put silt fence around the topsoil pile by the township road. The silt pond was mostly full, the company has been maintaining it but it has been difficult with the winter weather. Chesapeake replaced the silt sox damaged by the bulldozer and left the silt fence downslope as additonal safe guards. Trying to stabilize the slopes has been very difficult because of the weather. Chevron must edit the E&S Plan to reflect he additions I mentioned above. |
