The complainant observed a greenish colored liquid in the road ditch coming from the well site location. The site ID sign, E&S control plan and perimeter BMPs were observed. The puddles on the well pad were sampled with a filed conductivity meter and did not indicate any pollution substances present. The last inspection conducted by the operator was done on 8/30/11. At the time of the inspection, the water impoundment was being re-filled with water. After questioning the water haulers on-site, it was determined that the water impoundment was emptied, the liner repaired, and the impoundment refilled. This was verified on the Aug. 16, 2011 operator¿s inspection report and through a phone call to Sean Mahaffey. | |
