Operator should continue to monitor the site for accelerated E&S until final restoration is completed.

Adjacent to the former well pad an above grade impoundment had been constructed and contact with the operator confirmed that this impoundment was for fresh water and that was the water currently in the structure. Observed numerous insects and frogs inhabiting the water contained in the impoundment. The Department recommends that the operator empty the fluids from the structure and regraded and seed & mulch the area as soon as possible to complete final restoration activities at the site.
