INSPECTION ID DATE DESCRIPTION COMMENT VIOLATION ID
1837777 2009-10-21 No Violations Noted
2042884 2012-02-15 No Violations Noted On February 15, 2012, I stopped at the Grimes Unit 1 well for an unannounced inspection; I was the only one on-site. Although the well is listed as active in eFacts, I¿m not sure if the well is still in production. It looked like much of the equipment was not operated in a while, several of the valves I saw were closed, it looked as if the drain plugs in the brine tank were open, the well sign was nearly illegible and the site in general was run-down.

I saw no obvious E&S issues and saw no evidence of leaks or spills.

This is an old site and I will try to find out if it is still in production.

Efacts also lists the operator as ¿Zenith Exploration Company, Inc.¿ while the sign lists it as ¿Haddad & Brooks, Inc.¿; the address is evidently the same.
