| 2066459 | 2012-05-08 | No Violations Noted | An inspection was conducted at the Austinburg 1H well pad on May 5, 2012. The site ID sign was present and E&S control plan was on-site. The last inspection conducted on behalf of Novus was on 5/7/12. No erosion issues were observed. The fill slopes of the pad are well vegetated and stabilized. The cut slopes are partially vegetated and may require additional seeding. Several puddles on the pad surface were monitored for elevated conductance. No elevated readings were found. The 1H well is the only permitted well on this site. Section 3216 of 58 Pa. C.S. §§ 3201 - 3274 (relating to Development) ("2012 Oil and Gas Act") requires an operator to restore the well site within 9 months after completion of drilling of a well. Consideration should be given to restoring the site or requesting an extension under the provisions of Section 3216(g). No new violations were cited during this inspection - MRN |
