2012-11-27 | Inspection of the well head found 6.625 production casing - 2 tubing and pumping rods with the production valves open and the well set up to be produced by the means of a pumping unit. A 100 barrel and 50 barrel production tank are present on location near the well head. Inspector will note that both Northwood Energy and PP&G are reporting production status on the said well. | |||
2013-02-21 | Inspection found the well idle and not in production with no reported production in the database. A 1 gas line is present running to a domestic meter but has been disconnected and by-passed by what appears to be a adjoining landowner. Well shall be made capable of commercial production within 30 days; or plugging is required within 90 days; Failure to comply may result in forfeiture of bond. Inspector will note that company must obey Division rules pertaining to the 50' set back from the traveled portion of the road way and diking of the tank battery before attempting to place the well into production along with the posting of proper identification. 03/28/2013 The said well has been plugged and the location rough graded in resolving compliance notice. | NONE | ||

2013-03-22 | Notification was made to me by Bill Arnholt that they had applied for and received a plugging permit before I issued the violation against the said well. Mr. Arnholt also stated that they would be moving on to plug the well on Monday. The violation written against the well shall be resolved when the well is plugged. | |||
2013-03-26 | Inspector on site to witness the setting of the bottom plug. 1500' of 2 tubing was pulled out of the borehole and the service rig ran in with their stem and jars to check bottom, the tools set down at 1500' and the tubing was ran back in to 1500' and a 500' bottom plug was set. I had the cementers wait and circulate the oil out of the hole that was displaced above the plug to avoid contaminating the surface area. No company or State casing or completion records available. | |||
2013-03-27 | Inspector on site 9 hrs setting the plug at the estimated bottom of the surface casing depth, The lower plug was tagged at 837' and a plug was set from 715' to 415'. No records State or past company available but known drilling activity indicates that surface is typically set within 300' of Ground Level Elevation, Well location elevation is 800'. The 7 surface pipe was attempted to be pulled out of the hole unsuccessfully and was ripped at 240' and pulled out of the hole, 2 tubing was ran in and the surface plug was attempted to be set from 240' to surface with circulation established and no cement returns to surface. After phone conversation with Bill Arnholt later in the day a mutual decision was made to grout the remainder of the open surface hole with a State certified Redi-mix contractor on the proceeding day.
