An air bleed off valve on the air compressor day tank was opened and approximately 100 gallons of fuel flowed into the containment area. However, when the containment was built a seam was left unsealed allowing fuel to discharge on to the ground. Cleanup was underway upon my arrival. All equipment was removed from the immediate area affected, the containment was torn down and all ground was being excavated and being put into roll off boxes to be taken to approved site.
