1819807 2009-08-06 No Violations Noted An inspection completed on 7/23/09, and inputted under inspection # 1815034, revealed that drill cuttings and fluids were in an unlined pit in direct contact with the ground surface. A 8/4/09 letter from Chesapeake indicated that remediation efforts were initiated on 7/25/09, and that waste materials were removed from the pit at that time. My inspection has revealed that the pit is now closed and backfilled. Therefore, I recommend resolving the 7/23/09 violations provided that waste disposal receipts are provided for the pit remediation.
