| Orphan Well Plug job. Contractor Barry Bowers grouted well to surface with 4 yards 9 sack grout. Grout was brought to location in a ready mix truck. The grout was then dumped into a hopper on a cement pump truck. The cement pump truck had extended a hydraulic arm to reach the well casing from the road. A 1 inch plastic siphon string was ran into the casing to bottom. As grout was dropped into well casing, the water was displaced through the siphon string and into a steel container at the road. Bowers water truck vacuumed the water out of the steel container. All fluids were contained during the plug job. Casing was cut off  30 inches below grade and monument installed on casing. Backfilled the hole and graded location. All excavation was done by hand shovels.
