+ | | On this day, I am conducting an inspection to document the SIMOPS progress for the plug and abandonment of permit number 4446. I spoke with Antero representative Barney Etcher, and he stated the SIMOPS process is being delayed due creating a standard operating procedure between departments within Antero Resources. Containment is being set in place and steel cages for the producing wells are onsite. The well in question currently has a nightcap in place and no gauges are present. I found the pad gated with signage at the entrance. There are (6) producing wells, (6) gas processing units (GPU), (4) 400-barrel steel production tanks within polymer lined steel containment, and an Emergency Shutdown (ESD) button is present at the pad entrance. Additionally, concrete barriers surround the perimeter of the wellheads. Each well has identification and annular pressure monitoring devices equipped. The 9.625 inch diameter intermediate casing has a pressure of 0 pounds per square inch (psi), and the 13.375 inch diameter surface casing has a pressure of 0 psi. | ||
