| Inspect well based on complaint of H2S odors near and within house. Well is located at corner of house and has been entombed in a 3 foot by 3 foot by 3 foot concrete mass. Odors are most noticeable when very cold outside. Well is not located in RBDMS database. Gas well identified on historic map indicating well was drilled in 1916 to a depth of 88 feet, and Sulphur gas was encountered in crevices of hard rock.  H2S was detected in the basement emanating from sump pump sump adjacent to well location. Readings alarmed meter and exceeded 11 ppm.  H2S odors were prevalent throughout basement.
