| Visited location on 08/18/2014 at the request of Gail with Columbia Gas.  The landowner, Ms. Narduzzi, had contacted Columbia Gas about gas bubbling up alongside of her driveway.  The gas is due to a leaking, unregistered domestic well next to the driveway.  The well is equipped with a 3-bolt shale wellhead.  The well is leaking gas along the driveway; gas can be seen bubbling up along the driveway, likely following the path of an old line to the house.  Using Columbias gas meter, 100% gas readings were taken at the bubbles, 5% gas at the wellhead, and 2% LEL at the valve in the house; the reading dropped to zero once the valve was shut.  Columbia Gas did not shut-off gas service to the house, as no gas was detected in the house once the valve was shut.  The landowner was advised of the need to register the well, and paperwork was e-mailed to her regarding well ownership.  She was also put into contact with Ron Gibson and Associates to address the leak at the wellhead.  Ron Gibson was able to replace a valve at the wellhead and shut the well in.
