The Stibleys have lived here for three years and recently discovered a small sink hole with a steel casing. Casing is 10 ID and 8 below ground surface. Casing is full of fresh water and intermittently leaking gas bubbles. There are zero readings on my Sperian type gas meter. We measured a depth of approximately 14. It is unknown if this well was previously plugged. This well is probably a Clinton well. The Stibleys have just built a new garage and access to this well is very tight. 27 photos taken. ROE paperwork left with the Stibleys. OWP application started. Well is covered with a piece of plywood. |

Mr. Stibley wants OWP application started but does not want yard tore up at this time with plugging equipment. This location is very tight or limited on working space. Mr. Stibley does not want to use access through his neighbors drive way( Mary McCoy). Norburt suggested vault and vent well at this time for minimal damage. Mr. Stibley would be happy with this action. This well is unknown how it was plugged or filled in. Gas bubbles show zero reading on Sperian type gas meter. |
