| I received a phone call from Bruce Close from Alliance Petroleum stating that he had a phone call from Clark Myers. Mr. Myers told him that there was a well leaking gas at the end of the run way at the Salem Air Park. Looking thru the RBDMS and Well locator it appears to be a domestic well. I was on my way to Carrol County. I called Inspector Kevin Perry to see if he could  met with Ben Pigeon and Mike Pigeon owners of the air field. Kevin called a let me know what he found out. There was a pipe nipple between the well head and drip bottle leaking. Kevin  ask if they knew who owned the well and they though the Myers farm owned the well. I called Clark Myers and he was not sure who it belonged to but he would look into it. Mr. Pigeon call some one he knew and they came and shut the value on the well. This well is located 50 ft.+/- from the runway. Compliant  #4949

| I was on location in reference to Complaint 4949 of a well leaking gas on the airport property. The well was a Berea well with no known registered owner. Upon inspection it was leaking from a 1 domestic supply line leading into a drip tank. The property manager and property owners son Ben Pidgeon was able to contact a friend who is a well tender for Enervest to come and shut in the wellhead. The gas leak was stopped and the domestic supply will not be used until the proper repairs are made to the wellhead. John Fleming and Heidi Scott will be on location 2/23/15 in attempt to locate the owner of the Berea field.
