| Drillers at 1725 ft. Big Lime at nearby well is at 1760 so the Lime in this hole may be approx. 1800ft. Tools hung slightly in hole on first run this morning. Red rock and cuttings came up in bailer. Gas also present- probably from the Berea zone. 12:20 p.m. tools almost hung at 1730 ft. Camphire will try to run smaller 5 inch tools.

| Camphire at depth of 1725. Reducing to 5 inch bit due to almost getting stuck with  Red Rock caving in yesterday. Top of Big Lime is estimated at 1840 ft. based on adjacent well PN 3598. Camphire made drilling run of 45 ft and then 10 feet while bailing grey mud/cuttings and slightly salty water. Smell of gas was present occassionaly. No drilling progress was made after this. Attempt was madeto measure depth when  gas blow out occurred spouting water approx 8 ft high out of pipe for less than 1 minute. Well was shut in and then vented into tank. Old lime plug may have come loose allowing Clinton zone to come through which may have been source of gas that has been affecting the Smith water well. Did not want to "kill" well with heavy salt water due to possible communication with fresh water zone. Camphire did not think water would flow up to surface again as before.

1098104518 2004-10-12 Camphire Drilling is opening this I&O well that was discovered on the Jeff and Faith Smith property, Pine St, Brinkhaven Ohio. Clay and pieces of wood drilled out at top of well.
1098109662 2004-10-18 Drillers at 1725 ft.
1098196100 2004-10-19 Camphire at depth of 1725. Did not want to kill well with heavy salt water due to possible communication with fresh water zone. Camphire did not think water would flow up to surface again as before.
1146598742 2006-05-02 Well was plugged under emergency orphan well program.
1937447524 2004-10-14 Drillers have cleaned out to approx. 1100 feet so well appears to be a Clinton formation. Informed driller that a nearby Clinton well formation is at 2833.
-767660849 2004-10-13 Camphire has drilled out to a depth of 708 ft so far. Oil has been bailed from hole and smell of gas present at the Berea zone. Hole was reduced from 8 inch to 6 inch today.
