Once the oil/brine reached the end of the lease road it ran into a ditch that makes its way to Sharps Fork. I saw no sign of contamination past the end of the lease road, but the Ohio EPA was notified. The dike still had oil and brine in it. I tested a small amount of water coming from the end of the dike drain and found it to contain 6797+ ppm Chlorides. I met with the pumper at the site and he informed me they had been cleaning the area since yesterday. Contaminated soils shall be removed and disposed of properly. Oil shall be removed from the soil and water. The dike shall be emptied of all fluids.
1330979992 2012-02-29 A backhoe was used to remove a large amount of contaminated soils along the dike. Booms and pads were used to clean oil from the drainage. Siphon dams were used filter any contamination from the creek.

The water shall be removed from the dike. The identification at the tank battery had incorrect American Petroleum Institute numbers painted on it. The top of one of the tanks had open vents. The vents shall be closed to prevent the uncontrolled escape of oil or gas into the atmosphere. There has not been any production records reported for the last two years.
