0938926177 2019-02-22 Production Wells Violations Noted On this day, I found the well equipped with 4.5 inch diameter casing and 2.375 inch diameter tubing with flowlines attached and the production valves open. It is setup to be produced by means of a pumping unit with rods and an electric motor. There is a low pressure regulator and drip tank nearby. The production facility consists of (2) 100-barrel steel tanks and vertical separator not within containment. It will be noted that minor residual oil staining is at the base of one tank (4 feet x 4 feet in size). There is no identification present, and the production records are current through 2016. According to 1501:9-9-05(A)10, legible identification shall be posted in a conspicuous place on or near the wellhead or the storage tank(s) as to owner, lease name, well number, permit number, county, and an emergency contact number. If multiple wells are being produced into the common tank(s) each wellhead shall be identified as previously stated. Multiple pictures were taken.
1510235027 2017-11-09 Production Wells No Violations On this day, I found the well equipped with 2.375 inch diameter tubing, 4.5 inch diameter casing with the valve open, and possibly providing domestic gas to a nearby house. The well is produced by means of an American pumping unit with electric motor. The stuffing box needs replaced as indicated by paraffin covering the wellhead. There is (2) 100 barrel steel tanks, and a vertical separator with the valve closed. A dike will need to be constructed around the tanks and separator, and there is no identification at the tanks or wellhead. Production hasnt been reported since 2013. Company will be contacted and a follow-up inspection will be conducted.
