Inspection Data

Inspections Performed

Inspection ID Inspection Date Inspection Type Inspection Result Inspection Comments
0070744760 2019-04-04 Production Wells No Violations My inspection revealed that the oil contamination at the well has been cleaned up. I observed identification at the tank. The violation has been resolved. Time of inspection: 8:35 AM. Weather: 43 degrees F, Overcast
1424199439 2015-02-10 Production Wells No Violations This inspection was conducted as a production well status check. The well was equipped with a pumping unit and motor. Identification was posted at the well. The tank battery consists of (1) 100 barrel tank inside an earthen dike. This well produces into a common tank battery with p#2462 and p#2349. The tank battery was enclosed inside a fence. Identification was posted at the tank. No violations. Time of inspection: 1:15 PM. Weather: 22 degrees F, Overcast
1553602997 2019-03-26 Production Wells No Violations My inspection revealed that the well was equipped with a pumping unit and motor. During the inspection I observed that a leak has ocurred at the well. I observed that oil has leaked from the well and ran downhill approximately 100 feet from the well. The contamination was approximately 3 feet in width at its widest point along the path it took down the hill. I also observed that 10 feet from the well on the eastern side of the well showed evidence of oil contamination. The ground has soaked the oil into the soil since the leak ocurred. I did not observe any pools of oil but I did note that the ground and vegetation was stained with oil. The well owner shall remove contaminated soil within 5 days and correct the leak at the well. Moran Oil Partners LLC took ownership on 4/4/2018. I did not observe proper identification at the well or tank battery. An identification sticker at the tank did not identify the owner or an emergency phone number. The well owner shall post identification within 10 days. I advised Dean Moran of my findings in person at 3:00 PM on another lease. Time of inspection: 8:00 AM. Weather: 28 degrees F, Sunny
