0268826439 | 2018-04-10 | Production Wells | No Violations | I conducted an inspection on this well location regarding complaint # 5746. I was contacted by a Mr. Thomas Sawyer to conduct an inspection on this well located on his property. At the time of this inspection, the well consisted of a 4.5 inch casing swaged into a 2 inch line with a ball valve that had been disconnected from the flow line. There was a 2 inch flow line that was also present at the well but disconnected from the well. The tank battery location consisted of one 100 BBL tank. No identification was present at the well or tank battery. The tank battery was diked and located in a planted soybean field. The lease access was stable. Mr. Sawyer stated that the well had been idle for a long time and not in production. State records indicate that Buckeye Petrol Corp Inc, well owner is a cancelled company. Attempts to reach the company were unsuccessful. |
0786508317 | 2015-11-16 | Production Wells | No Violations | I was on location for a status check. During my inspection, I found the well not in production. The 2 flow line ball valve was in the open position. The well is equipped with a pumpjack. The tank battery consists of a 100 barrel production tank. There is a dike around the tank. There is no identification posted. The lease road is in stable condition. The phone number listed in the RBDMS database is disconnected. There is no annual production filed. The RBDMS Master File Comments states a field inspection for an orphan well referral was requested on 9/15/2003. I called and spoke with ODNR Orphan Well Program Administrator, Michelle Miller. Mrs. Miller stated the well was not listed in the orphan well database. Further research on the well ownership will be conducted. |
