Inspections Performed

Inspection ID Inspection Category Inspection Date Inspection Type Inspection Result Inspection Comments
2628869 Primary Facility 2017-08-14 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted Today I conducted a routine inspection at the State Game land 232 North well pad.

The well pad is currently being constructed. The outside perimeter E&S controls were being constructed while on-site. No sediment or erosion was observed outside of the LOD. No wells have been drilled yet. Operator is meeting the terms and conditions of the permit.

2641092 Primary Facility 2017-09-28 Drilling/Alteration No Violations Noted 2 of 5 wells have spud operations begun, but do not yet have conductor casing set or cemented. Location shows no apparent violations.
2645006 Primary Facility 2017-10-10 Administrative/File Review No Violations Noted Operator reports 40' of 30" hole with 26" conductor cemented to surface on approx. 9/30/17. NOVIO
2685305 Primary Facility 2018-01-23 Drilling/Alteration No Violations Noted Patterson 343 rigging up to drill down hole portion of well. Location inspection shows no apparent violations. NOVIO
2702056 Primary Facility 2018-03-07 Drilling/Alteration No Violations Noted Patterson 343 set 5 1/2" csg at 17,343 with no issues reported. NOVIO
2707502 Primary Facility 2018-03-13 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted Today I conducted a routine inspection at the SGL 32 North 11871 well pad and the following was observed.

Proper signs were displayed identifying the site. The site was stabilized with good vegetative growth no erosion observed outside of the LOD. The permitted wells on site were just drilled. Crews are currently rigging down the site preparing to begin the production phase. Temporary secondary containment for the site was intact and maintained.

2806113 Primary Facility 2018-11-21 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted On 11/21/2018 at approximately 9:50, I conducted a routine inspection of the SGL 232 North well site located in Blaine Township, Washington County. I met with Angelo Albanese (Range Resources) to assess permit conditions relative to permit termination requirements. The following was observed:
  • Act 9 sign located at the site entrance was in good condition.
  • 5 wells on site were drilled but not yet hydraulically fractured.
  • The site appeared to be stable with greater than 70% vegetative cover.

Based on the inspection of the project area, it was determined that all requirements related to permanent stabilization and permit termination had been attained.

No violations were found during this inspection.

2813489 Primary Facility 2018-12-07 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted On 12/7/2018 at approximately 11:00, I conducted a site restoration inspection of the SGL North well site located in Blaine Township, Washington County. On 11/21/2018, I met with Angelo Albanese (Range Resources) to assess site conditions relative to permit termination. It was determined that all requirements related to permit termination had been attained which resulted in Range Resources submitting a formal written Notice of Termination (NOT). During the 12/7/2018 inspection of the project area, the following was observed:
  • The Act 9 sign located at the site entrance was in good condition.
  • 5 wells on site were drilled but not yet hydraulically fractured.
  • The site appeared to be stable with greater than 70% vegetative growth.

Based on the inspection of the project area, it was determined that all requirements related to permanent stabilization and permit termination had been attained.

I recommend termination of ESG15-125-0057.

No violations were found during this inspection.
