0506866902 | 2016-08-12 | Production Wells | No Violations | On the date of my inspection I found one 150 barrel tank and one 210 barrel tank. The well is equipped with a pumping unit, rods, 2.375 inch tubing and 4.5 inch tubing. A 2.375 inch pipe runs from the tubing into the 150 barrel tank. Production records end in 2014. There is no visible identification. I spoke with Josh from First Energy Generation LLC, he indicated he would post identification. |
1501603950 | 2017-08-01 | Production Wells | No Violations | On the date of my inspection I was accompanied by Paul Kish, senior environmental specialist with First Energy Corporation. The well is equipped with a pumping unit, rods, 2.375 inch tubing and 4.5 inch casing. There is a valve tied into the casing that is in the open position. A 2.375 inch production line runs from the tubing into a 210 barrel tank through a knock out drum at the top of the tank. There is no valve on the line from the tubing to the tank to shut the well in. There is a 2.375 inch line that runs down the hill to a second 210 barrel tank. Production records end in 2014. There is no identification on either of the tanks or at the wellhead. Paul indicated that First Energy is interested in plugging the well and will begin the process of applying for a permit to do so. They will also work on having identification signs created. |
