1005689835 2017-05-15 UrbanProduction Wells No Violations I inspected this well location as a follow-up to Chiefs Order # 2016-171. At the time of this inspection, I observed the following: a wellhead with plunger-list production system and associated supply-line appurtenances, and associated storage tank battery. The battery was comprised of a 210-barrel steel, stock tank, with a vertical separator. The well and battery were enclosed in separate chain-link enclosures, which were in disrepair and partially collapsed. The stock tank had some residual fluid at the bottom. The flow-line valve was closed. The well and battery were in a low-lying portion of the facility and accessible by a steep-graded embankment. The areas surrounding the well and battery were comprised of a dense overgrowth of phragmites and other mature, wetlands-type vegetation with large areas of standing water. The existing flow-line valve connections were closed. The former access road was partially overgrown and access to the immediate well area was not discernible. The were no obvious signs of spills, leakage, or other impact to the surrounding areas. There has not been an annual production report filed since 2003.
