There was an affected area approximately 12 wide at the tank and 2 wide and 35 long leading away from the tank. There was a bag of pete moss on site but had not been applied to the affected area. Inspector Miller will call the owner/operator. After oil clean-up, the tank needs to be removed and the impacted soil needs to be hauled away and disposed of properly. New topsoil will need to be brought in and a new tank will need to be installed. A dike (12Wx15Lx36H) will need to be built. The affected area will need to be reseeded. |
