The Department is unable to observe the condition of the well and well cellar.
2817232 Primary Facility 2018-12-12 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted On December 12, 2018, the Department performed an inspection of the EQT/Rice Energy Whipkey well pad site. Present at time of inspection was Jamie Davis (EQT). The site is located in Gray Twp., Greene Co. The inspection was related to a request by the operator for a pre-operational inspection of the site prior to new drilling operations on the site.

The site was original permitted by Rice Energy with an ESCGP1 permit. The site has been transferred to EQT and has been re-permitted as an ESCGP2 permit. The operator now plans to drill new wells at the site, and has requested a pre-operational inspection for the new wells.

Rice Energy completed one well the 1H well, and set the conductor for a second well the 2H well. The 1H well is equipped for production, and the 2H well cellar has been covered with a steel plate. EQT is waiting for the issuance of the new well permits, at time of inspection.

The well pad, and access road are in good condition. The site is stable with greater than 70% perennial, vege
