| 0428817915 | 2018-06-28 | Production Wells | Violations Noted | I received a call from Regional Emergency Operations Manager Trish Cartmel yesterday about this spill incident but, I was unable to get to the spill until this morning. The inspection this day revealed that this well has a brine leak come from the tank battery. It leaked out the side of the earthen dike and down the hillside and created a brine scald down the hill. John Schneider the field superintendent called this spill in on 6/27/18 but the spill happened the day before. I spoke with John on 6/28/18 about this well and he informed me they had removed the tank that was leaking and the other tank that was left they are going to check for any leaks but it is not currently leaking. They removed the soil yesterday and put down lime, seed, and mulch on the affected area. They will stop out today to see the progress on the remediation and see what else they have to do.
