The brine tanks and well apparatus appear to be in sound condition. No observation of accelerated erosion or sedimentation and the site appears to be restored and meets the 70% uniform vegetative coverage.
2716702 Primary Facility 2018-04-10 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted At the time of inspection well equipped for production. Two brine tanks within earthen dike. Brine tank heavily corroded with the top 2/3 of the tanks showing structural integrity issues. At the time of inspection no active leaks or evidence of old releases observed. Department recommends Operator address brine tank corrosion and structural integrity issues. No E&S issues.
2819306 Primary Facility 2018-12-26 Complaint Inspection In Compliance with Policy Well appears equipped for production.

Both brine tanks located in an earthen dike have holes near the top of the tank. No active leak is observed. No stressed/dying/dead vegetation observed at this time. Department contacted operator rep Josh Martz by phone from site to discuss brine tank integrity issues. Mr. Martz states he will contact supervisor and follow up with Department. 11:49- Department spoke with Mr. Martz by phone. Mr. Martz states a request for removal of these brine tanks was submitted in May. Mr. Martz states he will check the status of this request. 1330-Mr. Martz contacted Department via email. Mr. Martz states these brine tanks may be replaced or removed as early as January. Department recommends operator follow up with Department when brine tanks have been removed/replaced. Operator appears to be in compliance with policy at this time.

2856714 Primary Facility 2019-03-19 Routine/Partial Inspection In Compliance with Policy RTPT inspection to determine if brine tanks have been removed from site. According to inspection record #2819306 operator rep Josh Martz states brine tanks may be removed as soon as January 2019.

At time of inspection, two compromised brine tanks remain on site. Department contacted Mr. Martz by phone to get an update on brine tank removal. Per Mr. Martz, operator has requested funding for tank removal and is awaiting approval.
