| On 12/9/2013, the Department conducted an inspection at Chevron Appalachia's Knight 14H through 20H Well Unit Site in Springhill Twp., Fayette County.

The site was not guraded.  Spud activity was ongoing on the 17H well.  The 14, 15, and 16 wells had allready been spuded.  The 18, 19, 20 had yet to be spud.  I spoke with Cole Haddock of Chevron at the spud site.  Chris Diamond of Chevron was onsite today too.

The Act 9 sign was in place at the site entrance.

Crews were putting up permanent fence around one of the three sed traps today.  Permanent fence will be put around all three sed traps eventually.

The spud crew and fence crews were having issues with a lot of rock at the site.

The were no E&S issues at the site today.

The Act 9 ID sign has now been placed at the first access road entrance.  It used to be at the lower, second access road entrance.  Plans and permits were in the box.

The site was not guraded.  All 7 well cellars have now been drilled and the pad contaniment liner is still on the pad.  No activity was going on at the site today.
+
On 03/04/16 at approximately 1000 hours I conducted a routine complete inspection of the Knight Unit. The Act 9 sign was in place and all required documents were present at the site.

The were no E&S issues at the site today. The site was snow covered. All three sed traps have been fenced in.
+
The site overall was stable. The well heads appeared to be in good condition. The slopes between the AST pad and well pad exhibited locations of poorly vegetated or bare soils (see photograph). It is recommended that this be addressed.

There are two roll-off dumpsters on site.  One was covered and one uncovered and full of trash.  One 50 gallon drum was on site also.

The only equipment on site was a logging skid loader.
