I entered the site at 15:00 to find two wells which were not drilled to TD on Inactive Status. Stormwater management BMP’s have been installed according to the PCSM Plans. Basin #1 appears to be infiltrating as designed and Basin #2 appears to be ponding water which is acceptable since the calculations only account for detention in this basin. Vegetation has not reached 70% perennial cover along the access road where it appears soil has simply washed away over time (creating a somewhat rocky appearance). I recommend denying the Notice of Termination. No Violations Noted. |
2616492 | Primary Facility | 2017-07-14 | Site Restoration | No Violations Noted | Well Site Restoration/Notice of Termination Inspection. The site is permanently stabilized and PCSM plans have been implemented. The well pad surface remains as constructed but justification for the production size has been provided. I recommend approving the Well Site Restoration Report and Notice of Termination. No violations noted. |
2855253 | Primary Facility | 2019-03-15 | Routine/Complete Inspection | No Violations Noted | A routine (pre-plugging) inspection of two uncompleted wells; the 1H and 2H, on the TLT pad was conducted March 15, 2019. Records indicate these wells have (cemented) surface casing only set. There is no indication float equipment was drilled out and therefore any formation below the casing seat is isolated with cement by shoe and shoe track. The operator intends to satisfy the regulatory requirements outlined in the plugging regulations by filling the inside of the surface casing with a non-cementing material (gravel) to surface. At the time of inspection, access to the wells was limited due to a metal cover placed over the well cellars. There was no audible or visible venting, bubbling, discharge, or other obvious issues observed. No gas was detected in the cellar with an Altair 5x gas meter. The operator has submitted a Notice of Intent to plug these wells, and the operation is tentatively scheduled for next week. |
