| Continued well research with Orphan Well Inspector Mr. Jeff Fry and Supervisor Ochs. Confirmed 8 5/8, 10 and 13 inch casing. Measured artesian water flow at one gallon per one minute twenty seconds at the time of inspection. Met with the landowner Mr. Eric Smock on location who provided historical documents on the well. No oil or gas leaking from the well-only water. Re-tested water and confirmed 56 ppm chlorides. Division witnessed plug report dated 6/15/1968 stated that shallow water zone was unable to be plugged off during plugging and the well was assigned to the landowner (Bernlohr) for agricultural use (assignment on record). Subsequently, the well was permitted by Luling Oil & Gas to convert to SWDW #3.  8/14/1968 Luling was unable to get past 720 and abandoned the conversion attempt and plugged the well out and stated they left it in the same condition as when it entered. See image documents for details. Preparing orphan well referral package to determine if the well meets the orphan well program requirements. Added Division Well Survey Report coordinates.

| Received complaint of a possible leaking oil and gas well from the tenant farmer Mr. Jim Case. Located casing in farm land with casing exposed (8, 10 and possible 13) 8 inches above ground level. The 8 inch casing had a cap welded on it and water was seen flowing from the between the 10/13 inch annulus. Tested water 56 ppm chlorides. The well spotted approximately 160 feet SE of the RBDMS well spot.  Began orphan well referral process to see if well meets the criteria for the program and updated Mr. Case. Current landowner Mr. Eric Smock.
