The pit that was identified in the complaint had liquids that showed elevated levels of specific conductivity. A sample was collected and submitted for SAC 942 analysis. The pad surface had several puddles that showed elevated readings for specific conductivity. It was recommended that a fence to restrict third party access be erected around the pit, the liquids be removed and disposed of properly and a determination if a liner is present. There was no liner on the pad and a sample was collected and submitted for SAC 942 analysis. The reclamation for this site is anticipated in the near future. At that time the representative from indicated that as part of the reclamation of the site, they would ensure that no contaminated soil remained on site.
