Upon inspection, it was observed that this well is equipped for production. The well consists of an electric powered pumping unit standing over a surface casing, 4.5 intermediate casing, and 1.5 production tubing. The valve on the production tubing is in the closed position, and the valve on the 4.5 intermediate casing is in the open position. The landowner claims that this well once provided enough gas for domestic purposes, but the majority of his domestic gas comes from another well on the property. The production line is no longer connected to the 1.5 tubing. There is no bridle connecting the pumping unit to the rods, and there is no electric service to the motor. The tank battery consists of two 100 bbl production tanks. No IDs are posted at the well head or the tanks. RBDMS production records indicate that this well produced 86 Mcf of gas in 2013, which is below the minimum standard for commercially producing wells. The landowner claims that it is written into his lease that this well cannot be plugged. I will contact Mr. John Schneider of Stonebridge Operating Co. to inquire about this well, and to instruct him to post new IDs on the location. |

Stonebridge started working on wells, then Randy called me to verify they were not producing. Randy has hired attorney to take lease away from Stonebridge. Well producing with jack, tank has fair IDs, still working on tanks and need better IDs up, current chart in meter. Stonebridge reports Sheriff has been out every day due to conflict with landowner. Will not write NOV at landowners request. Production records show well produced 33 mcf in 2009, 5 mcf in 2008 and 6 mcf in 2007 which does not meet criteria for commercial production. Randy requests production data back to 1997 - this has been mailed to him. |
