2568833 Primary Facility 2017-03-02 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted Inspection of the Walter Hess TPC 5 well (103-20001) well in Shohola Twp., Pike County conducted March 2, 2017 at 11:00 am. The well is in the woods in a low area with pine trees Southeast of the crossroads of 434 and Old Shohola/Knealing road (PA Gas Mapping coordinates are fairly accurate and old location plat is just as accurate). At the time of inspection; the well was artesian; flowing from 2” pipe, reduced down to 1” with a valve. The valve was in the closed position, washed out, well still flowing. I cracked open the valve slightly and the rate increased significantly, shut back in. The 2” pipe is coming out of 20” corrugated pipe filled with water. There was no bubbling outside of the 2”. I placed a cap over where the well was artesian with hose hooked up to an Altair 5x gas meter; no gas detected.
