1558537111 | 2019-05-22 | Plug / Plug Back | No Violations | On site inspection to witness the setting of the bottom hole isolation plug. The well had issues with the 4.5 diameter production casing at surface above the 4.5 production casing. H2S gas was reported by subsided with sulfur clear and 80 barrels of water. Appalachian Wireline ran in the 1.900 tubing with a tubing cutter and shot the tubing off at 6,065. Chipcos rig and cement service was on location. A 10.5 barrel cement volume bottom hole cement plug was set through the 1.900 tubing. The plug consisted of 50 sacks of class A Neat cement displaced to 5,415 with 13.6 barrels of fresh water. The rig will pull the 1.900 tubing out of the hole and spear the damaged 4.5 diameter production casing. Once the casing is stabilized back in slips the casing will be ripped off and a cement plug set over the top of the Big Lime formation. |
1558704670 | 2019-05-24 | Plug / Plug Back | No Violations | Status check inspection to witness the well plugging process with a service rig on the hole owned and cement company both owned by Chipco out of Zanesville Ohio. Previously a bottom hole plug was set through the 1.900 tubing. An attempt to rip the 4.5 diameter production casing was unsuccessful due to the high level of H2S present and the casing head damaged from the H2S causing the pipe to relax downhole. The decision was made to shoot perforations 200 below the top of the Big Lime and set a 300 plug to isolate the Big Lime and shut off the H2S. Appalachian Wireline shot 10 holes in the 4.5 diameter production casing from 4,638 to 4,648. The rig then inserted the 1.900 diameter production tubing back into the 4.5 to a depth of 4,695. A 19 barrel slurry volume plug was set and the 1.900 tubing puled out of the well. The rig then ran in and tagged the top of the cement plug at 3,812. The 4.5 was ripped at 3,464 and one casing joint pulled out of the well to 3,420 and at that point a 100 6.3 barrel rip plug was set, the plug consisted of 30 sacks of class A cement displaced with 53.6 barrels of fresh water. Next the casing was pulled up and a plug set to isolate the bottom of the 8.625 surface casing set at 2,113, the plug was set from 2,213 to 2,013 and was a 12.6 barrel plug made up of 60 sacks of class A Neat cement. The well was circulated before pumping the plug. The 4.5 production casing was then pulled up to 300 and a final surface plug set. |
