During the inspection I found contamination around the well and outside of the dike that is at the wellhead. I contacted Terry Whitehair from the Emergency Response team to report the incident. I then got ahold of Joe Schmeltzer part owner of Jeanie Enterprises to let him know what I found during my inspection. Mr. Schmeltzer met me out on location about 45 minutes later. He addressed the situation and said they would start to clean it up immediately. Mr. Schmeltzer stated he would have the contamination all clean up in the next couple of days. I took pictures of the contamination for my report. I will return to the location as needed to make sure the process is finished. |
