| Rig is moving on location. Pits have 5' of fresh water in them. I told them to pump out the pits and we will see how fast the ground water is seeping into the pit. After pumping the pits out it was determined that the seepage was minimal and that the water most likely came from the location which was saturated before excavation.

| Drill rig is down and preparing to move to #1000. The pit is full and starting to back up the spill way. A pump truck is on site to pump some of the water down. I called Merl Richards and confirmed that the pit does need to be pumped down and that it must be below the spill way.

A pump truck is on site to pump some of the water down. I called Merl Richards and confirmed that the pit does need to be pumped down and that it must be below the spill way.
0527531940 2008-03-26 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations Pit liner looks good. BOP has been tested and is good. The rig is drilling the horizontal portion of the well now.

Merls question was they have two permits one says 600 of casing and the other says 250 of casing. I called Steve Opritza and he told me it is their choice as long as they are below the fresh water zone. I passed this information on to Merl.
