Inspection Data

Inspections Performed

Inspection ID Inspection Category Inspection Date Inspection Type Inspection Result Inspection Comments
2639906 Primary Facility 2017-09-20 Drilling/Alteration No Violations Noted The well has been spud. The well was spud on 9/19/17. The operator drilled a 36 inch hole to 50 feet and set and cemented a 50 foot x 26 inch conductor pipe in place. A cylindrical well cellar has been installed around conductor pipe.
2640703 Primary Facility 2017-09-20 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted On September 20, 2017, the Department performed an inspection of the Rice Energy, Piston Honda well pad site. Present at time of inspection was Joel Keller (DEP) and Jamie Davis (Rice). The site is located in Aleppo Twp., Greene Co. The inspection was related to setting of conductor on the wells to be drilled on site.

The operator is constructing the PCSM structures on the site and stabilizing the site. The operator has begun to set conductors on the 6 permitted wells on the site.

2664935 Primary Facility 2017-11-08 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted On November 8, 2017, the Department performed an inspection of the Rice Energy, Piston Honda well pad site. The site is located in Aleppo Twp., Greene Co. The inspection was a routine inspection during drilling operations on site.

The operator has completed construction of the PCSM structures on the site and is stabilizing the site. A slide has developed in the PCSM structure at the well pad which extends to the base of the well pad fill slope. The operator will need to stabilize the slope and repair the PCSM structure. The operator has set conductors on 6 wells on the site and has begun drilling the vertical sections on these 6 wells.

2829388 Primary Facility 2019-01-18 Drilling/Alteration No Violations Noted The operator has drilled to 6,656'. Operator preparing to trip in hole after a bit trip.
