The operator has contracted with Rain for Rent for operation of a reuse water AST for completion operations. The operator is using an overland waterline from the Noble approved freshwater withdrawal point on Enlow Fork and reuse water from the Noble centralized impoundments in WV to fill the AST on site. The fresh water withdrawal from Enlow Fork was shutdown during the inspection vy the operator.

2669443 Primary Facility 2017-12-01 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted On December 1, 2017, the Department performed an inspection of the Noble/HG Energy WFN10 well pad site. Present at time inspection was Kevin Maskol (DEP) and Josh Holmes (HG). The site is located in West Finley Twp., Washington County. The inspection was a compliance evaluation inspection during hydraulic fracturing operations related to violations noted on 10/11/17.

The five wells on site which were permitted to Noble Energy have now been transferred to HG Energy. The operator reported a release of reuse water to the well pad of unknown amount because of possibly failing secondary containment, on 10/10/17. During an inspection of the site by the operator stained stone was noted on the southeast corner of the well pad near the secondary containment.

The operator removed the secondary containment at the location of the suspected holes in secondary containment and has excavated impacted stone from the well pad. The operator has contacted ARM group to characterize the site and using a conductivity meter t

The operator plans to begin installation of the PCSM structures on the site and progress towards termination of the ESCGP2 permit.

5 wells have been drilled to completion on the site and are equipped for production.
