0120880905 | 2015-11-16 | Solution Mining Project | No Violations | I was on the City of Akron # 77 to monitor the Mechanical Integrity Testing of the system. The test parameters followed the Water - Brine Interface MIT protocol. A reference well ( City of Akron # 79 , 34-153-2-3169 ) was used to monitor pressure of the cavern. The duration of the M I T was eight (8) hours. The pressure change per hour was 0.008 psi / hour with 0.05 psi / hour being the maximum allowable. The well passed the test. No violations were identified during my monitoring. |
0380973456 | 2015-11-16 | Solution Mining Project | No Violations | I was on location to witness (assist) Cargill personnel in conducting mechanical integrity tests (MITs) on this well and the City of Akron #76 (SMP#4) (PN# 23120). The City of Akron #79 (SMP#4), PN# 23169, was used as the reference well for the simultaneous tests. Pressure readings were taken and recorded at the top of each hour and relayed by radio between the test wells and the reference well. I took and relayed pressure data from 8:00am-2:00pm and Summit County Inspector Bob Roush recorded and relayed the final three (3) pressure readings to conclude the test. Refer to the MIT data sheet for more details on this test. No violations. |
0415182573 | 2011-10-24 | Preliminary Restoration | No Violations | Preliminary Restoration is approved. |
0974912759 | 2010-12-20 | Solution Mining Project | No Violations | Completed the mechanical integrity test on the 7 casing that was cemented in place on 12/18. The initial test pressure was 590 psi. After five minutes the pressure was 585 psi. After ten minutes the pressure was 585 psi and after 15 minutes the pressure was 582 psi for a total loss of eight psi over 15 mintes. The allowable loss was 30 psi meaning the MIT passed. |
1061687642 | 2010-12-14 | Solution Mining Project | No Violations | Union Drilling is back to drilling. They anticipate reaching TD within the next four days. No violations at this time. |
1167292603 | 2018-01-31 | Solution Mining Project | No Violations | I was on location to inspect the UIC well. I found no spill or leaks. There is a wooden structure over the well. There is a locked chain link fence around the well. An identification sign is posted on the fence. There are no violations at this time. |
1231360436 | 2014-12-05 | Solution Mining Project | No Violations | An inspection of the well found no violations at the time. |
1292263806 | 2010-12-05 | Solution Mining Project | No Violations | Union Drilling Rig 24 spudded the well with a 20 bit and drilled to 130 with freshwater mud. While running the 16 conductor casing, the casing set down at 90. Repeated attempts failed and the company decided to lay the casing down and run the bit back in to clean the hole. |
1292332276 | 2010-12-08 | Solution Mining Project | No Violations | Union is drilling the surface hole with fresh water mud. No violations at this time. |
1293078968 | 2010-12-13 | Solution Mining Project | No Violations | Union Drilling Rig 24 is down for repairs to the mud pump. Should be back to drilling later tonight. No violations at this time. |
1293906824 | 2010-12-27 | Solution Mining Project | No Violations | Union Drilling Rig 24 is going back in the hole to drill the horizontal component of the well to connect to Akron 76. No violations at this time. |
1355393241 | 2010-12-06 | Solution Mining Project | No Violations | Union ran the 20 bit back in the well in order to remove the obstruction at 90. The rig then ran the 16 casing back in the well and hit the obstruction again. This time, Union will ream the hole with a 26 bit. |
1424943909 | 2011-03-02 | Solution Mining Project | No Violations | Cargill is installing the pipelines to operate the last two well drilled. Restoration work has not yet started. |
1625508624 | 2011-01-20 | Solution Mining Project | No Violations | On site to witness the cement bond log. The logging company was Superior Well Services. Logs were run on both this well and on City of Akron #76, permit number 3120. Both logs indicated good bond between the formation and the 7 production casing through the top of the Big Lime with variable quality across the shale section. The logs on both wells were run at atmospheric pressure. |
1776840995 | 2013-06-24 | Solution Mining Project | No Violations | The well was properly identified. My inspection was accompanied by Andrew Adgate. |
2127256870 | 2016-08-16 | Solution Mining Project | No Violations | There were no violations at the time of inspection. |
