0588758267 | 2018-11-14 | Production Wells | No Violations | I conducted an inspection on this well, as part of an investigation for possible referral to the Idle and Orphan Well Program. The well was equipped with a 4.5 inch casing swaged into a 2 inch line with a ball valve. The ball valve on the line was closed. The well was disconnected from a flow line. The port on the surface casing was open and an audible bubbling sound was observed at the open port. A gas odor was detected at the well location. There was a structure resembling a pumping unit base adjacent to the well. Two electric poles and an electric box were also present at the well location. Brush and small trees were surrounding the well and base structure. The well was located on a farmed parcel. No production equipment was associated with this well. No legible identification was present at the well location. There was a lease access drive to the well location. |
0806175572 | 2017-08-22 | Orphan | No Violations | My inspection found the well to be equipped with 8.625 and 4.5 casing. The annulus valve is open. The 4.5 casing is plumbed up and reduced with a swage and a valve that is closed. The pumpjack has been removed. The base for the pumpjack remains intact. There are 4 telephone poles and a electric service panel that remains on location. The lease road is stable and is currently being used as access for the farm fields. |
