0961230594 | 2014-04-28 | Production Wells | No Violations | My inspection found the well to be equipped with a plunger lift unit. The valves on the wellhead are closed. The tank battery is over grown with vegetation. The tank battery consists of a 210 BBL production tank, a 100 BBL brine tank, and a mechanical separator. The 210 BBL tank is rusted through at the base and needs to be removed or repaired. The identification sign is faded and needs updated. The lease road is in stable condition. Production records show the well has not produced since 2009. I have contacted Bill Arnholt with Northwood Energy about the issues with the well. |
1415904270 | 2014-11-12 | Production Wells | Violations Noted | My inspection found the well to be equipped with a plunger lift unit. The valves on the wellhead are closed. Production records show the well has not produced since 2009. The company has removed the production equipment from the location and restored where the tank battery was located to its original state. The well has no identification on it. The lease road is in stable condition. The company needs to install an identification sign on the well. I notified Chris from Northwood Energy about the compliance notice. The well needs to be plugged within 180 days of this notice. |
1494505666 | 2017-05-10 | Production Wells | No Violations | I conducted a compliance notice follow-up inspection for compliance notice inspection report 1415904270. The well has not been plugged and consisted of a plunger lift assembly. The annulus valve on the well was open but the valve on the 2 inch flow line was closed. There was an audible leak coming from the tubing packing. No signage was present at the well location. The tank battery equipment has been removed from the site. Lease access was stable. I spoke with Chris Scofield, field supervisor from Northwood Energy Corp. about the plugging of the well. He indicated that the well was on a plugging list but suggessted calling Northwood Energy Corp office. I contacted the Northwood Energy office and left a message for Bill Arnholt inquiring about the status of the well. |
