0421153830 | 2014-06-05 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | I was on location to check the drilling status of Nomac #72. They are currently drilling the 8.5 lateral at a measured depth of 11,917. They switched to synthetic, oil based mud at a depth of 7,288. The location is in good condition and all equipment is on containment. No violations. |
0845484592 | 2014-05-30 | Casing String Witnessed | No Violations | I was on location to witness the 13.375 surface casing cement job. Wyoming casing was running pipe and could not wash down the pup and landing joint due to fill-up in the hole. I spoke with the company man and drilling superintendent about where the base of the Big Injun was logged. The base was at 746 and pulling joint #20 out of the hole would put the bottom of the casing at 786 (40 below the USDW). I approved cementing the casing at this depth and Schlumberger cemented the casing with 160 barrels of Class A cement slurry. 45 barrels of cement circulated to surface and weighed 15.5lbs/gallon on the pressurized scales. The plug did not land and the casing was pressure tested prior to drilling the shoe track at 1000psi. This satisfies OAC 1501:9-1-08(D)(3)(b). See casing report for more details on this job. No violations. |
0918831469 | 2015-09-16 | Preliminary Restoration | No Violations | I was on location to conduct a preliminary restoration inspection. The well is open flow with a wellhead Christmas tree assembly. Jersey barriers were installed around the wellhead. The well is properly identified with a clear, legibly marked well identification sign. The tank battery consisted of two 400 BBL production tanks and was diked. The tanks are located within a spray-lined and sealed secondary containment. There are e-stops outside the barriers, and the tanks are grounded, and have static dissipators. There is a truck grounding area for trucks collecting condensate and/or produced water. Lightning protection and a windsock is installed on top of the production tanks. Other production equipment on the well pad consisted of:
Jersey barriers are installed around the production equipment. The entire well pad is enclosed with a 6 foot high, chain link fence with 3 strand barbed wire and the man doors were locked. Along the interior of the chain link fence there is an earthen berm and it was stable. Drainage and erosion controls at the pad are in place and functioning. A closed-loop, above-ground drilling pit system was used, so there are no earthen pits requiring closure. The pad has a crushed limestone surface, and is in good repair. The lease road is stable and drivable. Preliminary restoration passed. |

1486169543 | 2017-09-06 | Production Wells | No Violations | I conducted a status check of this well. Identification signs were posted at the access road entrance, the well, and the storage tanks. The access road was equipped with a gate and was locked. The #10H well is in production. The well is equipped with a plunger lift assembly. The production tanks are surrounded by a steel dike. The pad is surrounded by a fence and all man doors were locked.
The equipment on the pad consists of the following: 2- 400 bbl production tanks; both labelled as containing produced water. 4 Producing wells 4 Sand separators 4 Gas processing units |
1800544914 | 2016-03-10 | Preliminary Restoration | No Violations | I was onsite to conduct a preliminary restoration inspection. There are four wells on the pad. The pad is shared between the Kruprzak #3H (22212-
There are concrete jersey barriers protecting the wellhead and production equipment from vehicles. The tanks are located within a spray-lined and sealed secondary containment. There are e-stops outside the barriers, and the tanks are grounded, and have static dissipaters. There is a truck grounding area for trucks collecting condensate and/or produced water. The soil stockpile is well stabilized with vegetation. Drainage and erosion controls at the pad are in place and functioning. A closed-loop, above-ground drilling pit system was used, so there are no earthen pits requiring closure. Preliminary restoration is complete. |
