-lined and sealed secondary containment. There are concrete barriers protecting the containment from vehicles. There are e-stops outside the barriers, and the tanks are grounded, and have static dissipaters. There is a truck grounding area for trucks collecting condensate and/or produced water. Along the interior of the chain link fence there is a site drain installed. The soil stockpile is well stabilized with vegetation. Drainage and erosion controls at the pad are in place and functioning. A closed-loop, above-ground drilling pit system was used, so there are no earthen pits requiring closure. Preliminary restoration is complete and approved. | |

1360778454 | 2013-01-30 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | I was at the site to check on the drilling progress. The well had reached total depth at 13,686. The rig was in the process of laying down the drill pipe. |
1395646649 | 2013-01-14 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | I went to the site to witness the cementing of the surface casing. The drilling contractor, Nomac 245, spudded the well on 01/13/2013. The 17.50 diameter surface hole was drilled to 668. There were no issues while drilling the surface hole. Circulation was maintained throughout the drilling. The 13.375 OD surface casing was set at 668 KB. A total of seven centralizers were installed on the surface casing string. Schlumberger was the cementing contractor. There was good fluid circulation throughout the cementing operation. The cement was mudscaled at 15.5 lbs per gallon (ppg), then 15.6 ppg ppg. Halliburton adjusted the cement density, and pumped 129.8 bbls of cement slurry at 15.6 ppg. Cement returns to surface were observed. An estimated 17.5 bbls of cement returned to surface. The plug was displaced with 97 bbls of water. The plug bumped the float collar at 9:51pm. Schlumberger pressured up on the casing, and the pressure held. When the pressure was released, approximately 0.5 bbls of water flowed back. Additionally, the float did not hold, bleeding back an estimated 0.5 gallon per minute. The cement head was shut in for eight hours. |
1435225752 | 2012-11-14 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | I witnessed the cementing of the conductor casing. Express Energy Services drilled a 26 diameter hole to 110. Express installed 110 of 20 OD casing. During drilling, water was encountered at an approximate depth of 70. Express Energy Services was the cementing contractor. The cement was mudscaled at 15.6 pounds per gallon (ppg). Express pumped 43.6 bbls of cement slurry at 15.6 ppg. The cement was displaced with 37.3 bbls of water. Cement returns to surface were observed. An estimated 6 bbls of cement returned to surface. Displacement was completed at 1:00pm. |
1577553139 | 2013-01-24 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | I was at the site checking the drilling progress. Nomac 245 was tripping in the drill pipe with a new bit at 6082 at 2:25pm when I arrived on location. |
2050177829 | 2016-11-28 | Production Wells | No Violations | The purpose of my inspection was to conduct a status check on well # 2--established vegetation. A sign board is posted at the entrance and contains correct owner and well identification and emergency response information. A chain link security fence with barbed wire top is constructed around the well pad. The entrance gate and escape doors are locked to prevent unauthorized entry. An electric shut down button is present outside of the entrance gate. An earthen berm perimeter with well-established vegetation is present around the fence/ well pad. The well pad surface is composed of crushed gravel and remains in good repair.
Correct and legible identification is posted at the well head. The well cellar contains freshwater with 4 inches of freeboard. No sheen was identified on the surface. Steel grating is set in place on top of the cellar to prevent falls. The mousehole is cemented. The digital intermediate annular pressure gauge indicated -3.2 psi. The digital production casing annular gauge indicated -3.2 psi. Neither gauge is identified as to its respective casing string. The well is equipped with tubing. The production casing pressure gauge indicated 240 psi. The production tubing pressure gauge indicated 165.4 psi. No audible or visual leaks were detected. Production equipment located on the pad consists of one (1) vertical sand/fluid separator, one (1) gas processing unit (GPU), one (1) 350 gallon hydrate inhibitor tank within sealed containment, one (1) vertical separator, two (2) 400 bbl production tanks within containment and one (1) emission combustion tower. Concrete jersey barriers are placed in front of the production equipment to prevent damage. The vertical separator and GPU are in good repair with no audible or visual leaks |
