0908987535 | 2017-10-24 | UrbanProduction Wells | No Violations | I inspected this well location as part of routine inspection activity. The well and battery are located on a parcel otherwise utilized for industrial use. At the time of this inspection, I observed the following: a wellhead with pump jack system which was in operation. Fittings and connections at the well were secure and free from signs of leakage or problems. The associated tank battery is located next to the entry gate, with the well beyond in the parking area. The fittings and connections were secure. The load-lines were plugged and secure. The secondary containment was intact and dry. Signage was present. I walked the areas surrounding the well and battery and found no signs of degradation or impact to the natural greenscape. |

1288603435 | 2017-01-17 | UrbanProduction Wells | No Violations | I inspected this well as a follow-up to a previously-issued Compliance Notice. At the time of the previous inspection, I had noted that the steel production tank had several perforating holes that had compromised the integrity. At the time of this inspection, the failed tank had been removed from the tank battery and transported off location. Therefore the Compliance Notice violation has been remedied. No further action is needed. |
1670935289 | 2016-11-16 | UrbanProduction Wells | Violations Noted | I inspected this well location as part of routine inspection activity. At the time of this inspection, I observed the following elements: a wellhead with pump jack system and associated tank battery, both located within the confines of an unidentified commercial operation. Fittings and connections at the wellhead were secure and free from signs of leakage or problems with the following exception: lubricating oil is leaking from the pump jack gear box unit leaving some staining on the gravel ballast material below. Tank lids were closed and secure. Secondary containment was intact and free from signs of spills or leakage. Load lines were plugged and secure. I noted the following: The brine tank was severely corroded with numerous, large holes that have comprised the integrity. The owner of the well must do the following: remove the brine tank from service effective immediately, and replace with a competent tank. This must be completed by 12/16/2016. Please contact Inspector Stephen Tompkins at 330-907-4647 with any questions regarding this inspection. |
