1529527033 | 2018-08-09 | Orphan | No Violations | I met with Jeff Moore (Moore Well Service) who had been contracted by the Cleveland Metroparks to assess the well for eventual plugging and abandonment. The well is unregistered and previously undocumented. The well consists of a 6-inch casing riser with former domestic supply line, and welded, flat-top head. There was no observed gas leakage. The well was supply line was open to atmosphere. A weighted line was dropped into the annulus, and found apparent open hole to at least 800 feet. The depth to fluid (water) was approximately 75 feet. The wellhead was restored following assessment pending further disposition. |
