0606253246 2013-02-28 Production Wells No Violations Inspected the Hawk #2 (#4239) as part of a standard productive well status check accompanied by Inspector Jeff Frye. The well is pumping by a New River gas powered pump jack and there is some residual oil on the ground from recent service work. The location as a whole is extremely wet and muddy due to recent rains. We where met on location by Mr. Hawk (landowner) who walked the location with us and discussed his concerns. Some oil has spilled through a pop-off valve at the top of the separator during service work. Mr. Camphire has spread saw dust on it but additional remediation needs completed. Talked with Mr. Camphire (3/1/2013) and informed of the additional clean-up as well as installing temporary well identification. Drilling equipment and ancillary supplies remain stored on the site. Mr. Hawk is fine with this as the weather has severally hampered removal. Mr. Camphire is aware of this. Status: will continue to monitor.
