4270618 2002-05-13 CASE 02-020 On May 7, 2002, Uniontown office received a complaint from Ms. Norma Shaub, 3164 South Ridge Road, Akron, Ohio (330-666-3809) of possible idle well. M. Hall recorded the complaint and informed Ms. Shaub that Moore Well Services reported production in 2001 and the well was therefore not likely idle. Inspectors Worstall and Claus visited the site on May 13, 2002 and met with Ms. Shaub. The well in question is the Reymann #1 which is located west of Ms. Shaub's property. The tank battery for this well however, is located on the southeast corner of Ms. Shaub's property. The tank battery was inspected and found to lack the required signage. The well had a small oil release around the wellhead and the stuffing box and also lacked any signage. On May 14, 2002, Moore Well Service will be notified by phone of the deficiencies at this site and the concerns of the complainant. Ms. Shaub will be contacted after discussing these issues with Moore.
