-1107269676 2005-09-16 Collect a water sample from a spring between the Cyca and Schubert properties located SSW of the Bredenbeck well. Sample will be submitted to Cambridge lab for analysis.
-1352644215 2003-09-12 The Uniontown office received a call from Bill O'Neal with questions about preliminary restoration at this well. Mr. O'Neal owns the adjoining property west of the well. The site has been graded and seeded and the grass is growing. The tank battery has been set, diked and ID. Preliminary restoration is approved.
1551990497 2005-09-09 The Uniontown office received a complaint from Mrs. Sharon Cyca at 8041 Rushwood Road in Sagamore Hills (330-467-4547). The complaint is that they have oil in their yard and septic system which is causing their septic pump to fail. The Bredenbeck well and tank battery are located approximately 800 feet northeast, up-gradient from the Cyca home. I did not see any surface evidence of a release around the wellhead or the tank battery. Nor did I see any oily residue in her yard, or detect any petroleum odor from the septic discharge. The properties in this neighborhood obtain municpal water but have private septic systems. I met on site with Mrs. Cyca and one of her neighbors. I told Mrs. Cyca that I would ask permission to sample the old water well on her property but that I did not see any obvious connection between her concerns and the Transcontinental well. If approved, sampling will occur next week.
1979036 2002-02-07 Drilling noise complaint registered by Bill O'Neal, 8071 Rushwood Lane, Northfield, OH 44067-1756; phone 330-467-4997 on 2-6-02. Met with Bill O'Neal & neighbors Donna & Kermit. Discussed drilling, completion, and production operations of oil and gas wells. I informed them what was going to happen at the site. I informed Capstar's drilling crew of the neighbor's concerns. I also inspected the drilling pits and drilling location. No Violations. I also met with Calvin Marks of Transcontinental Oil & Gas and informed him of the neighborhood concerns. He said that when completed, the wellhead and tank battery would be fenced and the area would be landscaped and trees would be planted. On 2-8-02, I informed Mr. O'Neal of my meeting with Transcontinental and the results of my inspection. I told him to call me if he had any further concerns.
2154i176 2002-05-20 5-20-2002 - Received a complaint from Bill O'Neal, 8071 Brushwood, Northfield, OH 44067-1756, phone # (330-467-4997), regarding water flowing onto his property last week from the Bredenbeck #1-D location. Inspector Claus checked the Bredenbeck location and met and questioned Bill Marks who was filling frac tanks. Marks stated that last week a bulldozer was leveling a spot for the frac tanks and pushed dirt into an area of ponded rainwater, causing it to flow down gradient toward Bill O'Neal's property. Inspector Claus met with Bill O'Neal and discussed his complaint. Inspector Claus and Bill O'Neal walked the property and observed the areas where the water flowed over O'Neal's property. No evidence of contamination was observed. NO VIOLATIONS. Inspector Claus returned to the Bredenbeck location and informed Bill Marks of the meeting with Bill O'Neal. Inspector Claus informed Bill Marks that oil and gas activities in Sagamore Hills township are highly scrutinized by all enforcement agencies.
