ID at tank battery had faded and not clear to read. Dike was full of water. A low range quan-tab was used to test the water for salinity. The water was found to contain 614+ parts per million Chlorides. An area of contaminated soil was noticed by the road near the unloading area. Water shall be pumped from dike and disposed of properly. Oily materials and contaminated soils shall be removed and disposed of properly. Affected areas shall be reseeded and mulched and steps shall be taken to encourage vegetative cover. All producing leases shall be legibly identified in a conspicuous place on or near the well-head or the storage tank as to owner, lease name, well number, permit number where available, county, and an emergency telephone number.
