-655220258 2013-05-17 I was onsite to check the status of the drilling of the 17.5" surface casing hole. They are currently at 669' and are taking on 150 barrels of water with a chlorides level of 2800. They are concerned whether or not to set casing at their current location in the Big Injun due to the on take of water. Brett Farnsworth and Supervisor Tom Hill were contacted and decided to set casing at 885 feet, 15 feet short of the 900' permitted depth. The cement job should occur later tonight/mourning.
1316841479 2013-05-17 I was onsite to witness the cementing of the 13 3/8" casing set to 883 feet. The well was taken on large amounts of water during drilling but the hole was well conditioned before the cement was pumped by increasing circulation time and adding floseal. The job was pumped as planned with the cement weighed at 15.6ppg. There was a total of 45 barrels of cement returned to surface and the floats held at 875psi for 5 minutes with little fluid coming back. They are going to set their 9 5/8" casing around 1500'.
1369760847 2013-05-24 I was at the site checking the drilling progress and obtaining cementing paperwork from the surface and intermediate cementing operations. I met with Larry Williamson, drilling consultant. The rig was in the process of drilling the curve at a total measured depth of 7,555' KB at 12:15 pm.
