737254805 2010-06-10 Meeting with landowner, Mr. Ed Thompson, at the well location. Mr. Thompson wanted to make sure the well and related equipment posed no threat to the environment. The well was equipped with a pumping unit with engine and no belts. The valve on pumping tee was open, but closed on casing side of well. Both lines from the well were found cut before the connection into one (1) 100 bbl. Identification sticker at tank was blank. No earthen dike around the tank. Mr. Thompson requests no enforcement. He expressed interest in purchasing the well for gas supply and plans to build cabins on this property. The current well ownership rules were explained to Mr. Thompson along with the new law SB 165 effective 6/30/2010.
